Adelaide Clemens
Brisbane in Australia is my birthplace and where I was brought up. She is the daughter of an English dad. Clemens became an actress in Australian television while she was in high school. She guest-starred in a 2006 episode of Blue Water High as Juliet and in 2007 she starred in the show for children Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji as Alison. Clemens received nominations at the Logie Awards in 2008 for her character, Harper on Showtime's show Love My Way. She received the Graham Kennedy Award and the prize in the category of Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens played the role in Dream Life, a 2008 MTV Networks Australia drama film which featured Sigrid Thonton Xavier Sam Linda Cropper and Andrew McFarlane. Also, she had small parts as a character in All Saints in 2009 and X-Men Origins Wolverine. Clemens was the face of Jan Logan's Jewelery during the same year. Clemens transferred to Los Angeles California, USA in 2009. Clemens played Xandrie as Xandrie in the film Wasted on the Young (2010). In 2012 Clemens was in Camilla Dickinson, alongside Gregg Sulkin, Cary Elwes as well as Samantha Mathis. This drama is an adaptation of the novel written in 1951 written by Madeleine L'Engle, a young adult writer. The film Silent Hill: Revelation 3D she portrayed teenager Heather Mason. The film's horror plot was based on Silent Hill 3, a Survival horror game. The film was also the sequel to Silent Hill. Clemens played the role of Valentine Wannop, a suffragette in Parade's End. Clemens appeared in Luke Evans' 2012 horror film, The film No One Lives. Also, she starred in The Great Gatsby based upon F. Scott Fitzgerald's same-named novel. Catherine Wilson plays the younger sister of Myrtle Wilson portrayed by Isla Fisher. Clemens is the lead character Tawney Talbot in the 2013 Sundance Channel television mini-series Rectify developed by Ray McKinnon. She will also star with Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham and Zachary Quinto in the independent drama The Girl Who Invented Kissing.
