Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Initiated by her observations of shadows in the earth and shadows on the ground, the artist spent weeks perfecting the technique used that allows objects to be represented in two dimensions onto canvas. Instead, the object is transformed into a representation of the subject and the canvas transforms into the medium for it's own painterly interpretation, especially when the subjects are live or perishable objects for example, like humans or fruits. Alexa's style of painting has an ephemeral quality, and the only thing remaining of Alexa Meade is her photograph. Photography and painting techniques are closely coordinated and result in a flat, two-dimensional area that is trompe l'oeil. Only certain areas of the photo like hair and eyes, display the three-dimensional dimension. Occasionally, Meade integrates her painted models into the three-dimensional environment around them, which allows the models to be part of their own self-created environment. By doing so, Meade is able to blur the lines between painting, photography and performance.
